Terry G. Cripe

Terry G. Cripe, 61 years of age, of Beatrice, passed away Friday, November 27, 2015 at Bryan Medical Center East in Lincoln. He was born on December 9, 1953 in Beatrice to Eugene and Joan (Kipf) Cripe. Terry enjoyed cars and racing and spent a lot of time building engines for those cars. He also enjoyed billiards, shooting at the gun club, camping, hunting and fishing.

Terry is survived by a son, David Cripe and wife Tuk of Clarinda, Iowa; daughter, Dana Umphenour and husband Nick of Beatrice; 9 grandchildren; special friend, Robin Sedlachek of Deshler and her children, Kassondra Shuck and husband Trent, Bryce Sedlachek and wife Dani and Steavan Sedlachek and wife Hannah; mother, Joan Cripe of Beatrice; sister, Deb Meyer and husband Emery of Beatrice; his dog, Scooter; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his father.

Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, December 3, 2015 at Harman-Wright Mortuary in Beatrice with Pastor Clayton Lundstedt officiating. Private inurnment will be at a later date in the Ellis Cemetery. A register book will be available from 9 AM to 5 PM Monday thru Wednesday at Harman-Wright Mortuary in Beatrice. Memorials are suggested to the family’s choice in care of the mortuary. Harman-Wright Mortuary in Beatrice in charge of arrangements.
