Steven Paul Ehrenberg

October 25, 1955 ~ February 26, 2017 (age 61) 61 Years Old

Steven Paul Ehrenberg was born October 25, 1955 in Omaha, Nebraska to Dwight and Helen (Jacobs) Ehrenberg.  He was baptized on November 13, 1955.  Steve died peacefully at rest in his home at Beatrice State Developmental Center on February 26, 2017. 

Steve lived at 3052 Peterson Boulevard, formerly 416 Sheridan.  He worked at Integrated Life Choices and attended Catholic Mass, Chapel Worship Services, and Wednesday evening Celebration.  Steve enjoyed listening to music especially Oldies, watching TV, being outside, swimming, and watching food preparation.  Steve enjoyed the peacefulness of quiet, looking and listening to his talking family photo album.  Steve especially enjoyed the frequent visits from his family and going out for ice cream with them.

Survivors include his mother, Helen; siblings: Jean, Linda (Tim Ingram), Susan (Richard Moulton), and Judy (Dennis Elledge) and nieces and nephews: Anne Moulton (Nathan Dyke), Katie Moulton (Zach Jennison), Tim Ingram, Kaylin Ingram, Megan Ingram and Julia Ingram; great nephew, Wesley Dyke; and great niece, Amelia Dyke.  Steve was preceded in death by his father, Dwight; grandparents: George and Arietta Ehrenberg; Edward and Elizabeth Jacobs; niece, Erin Elledge, and great niece, Isabella Dyke.

The Ehrenberg family would like to thank all the wonderful staff at BSDC who provided Steve with amazing love and support for nearly his entire life.  They were his family, his friends and his joy. 

A Memorial Service of Remembrance for family, friends, and staff will be at the All Faiths Chapel on the BSDC campus Friday, March 3, 2017 at 2:30pm.  Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, March 4, 2017 in Omaha at St. Margaret Mary’s Church at 10:30am.  The internment will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
