Ryan Lee Bergmeier

Ryan Lee Bergmeier, 42 years of age, of Plymouth, passed away unexpectedly at his home Monday, September 12, 2016. He was born on February 27, 1974 in Beatrice to Daryl and Jeanne (Meisenbach) Bergmeier. Ryan graduated from Tri County High School in 1993. He married Dana Sasse in September of 1999 in Plymouth and to this union, two children were born. Ryan was a truck driver for the Coop in Plymouth and also helped his father farm. He was a member of St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Plymouth. Ryan enjoyed stock car racing, hanging out with friends, camping, boating, water skiing and especially spending time with his two children.

Ryan is survived by 2 children, Zachary and Mikhaela Bergmeier; father, Daryl Bergmeier and wife Karen of Plymouth; 2 brothers, Nathan Bergmeier and wife Laticia of Odell, Caleb Bergmeier of Lincoln; 2 step-sisters, Tammy Midgett and husband Josh of Lincoln, Becky Kruse and husband Bryan of Bremen, Kansas; maternal grandmother, Diane Meisenbach of Hastings; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Jeanne Bergmeier; brother, Nicholas Bergmeier; maternal grandfather, Leo Meisenbach; and paternal grandparents, Harvey and Paula Bergmeier.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 AM Saturday, September 17, 2016 at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Plymouth with Pastor Fred Berger officiating. Interment will be in the St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery west of Plymouth. A family prayer service will be held at 10 AM Saturday at the church. Visitation will be held from noon to 8 PM with family greeting friends from 6 to 7 PM Friday, September 16, 2016 at Harman-Wright Mortuary in Plymouth. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Plymouth or a fund for Ryan’s children to be decided at a later date in care of the church elders. Harman-Wright Mortuary in Plymouth in charge of arrangements.
