Harold Loyd Hansen

Harold Loyd Hansen, 80, of Liberty, NE, died on December 30, 2014 at the Beatrice Community Hospital.  He was born October 26, 1934 in Wymore, NE.  He was a machinist for Plymouth Electric, Genex Inc. and retired from Dempster’s MFG and was a “Jack of all trades”.

He is survived by daughters, Betty Roberts and friend John Baxa of Beatrice, Kathy Chace and husband Bob of Liberty; longtime special friend, Aletha Davison of Beatrice; 5 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sister, Wanda Spier of Beatrice.

Preceded in death by Parents, Lloyd and Nina (Miller) Hansen; son, Harold Lee; grandson, Justin Lee; brothers, George, Alvin, Raymond and Melvin Hansen; sister, Zelma Hansen.

Celebration of Life Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 3, 2015 at the Beatrice Veteran’s Club in Beatrice.  No visitation, Harold’s wishes were to give his body to Creighton Medical Center for research. A private family burial will be in the Table Rock Cemetery at a later date.  Memorials are established to the family’s choice. A guestbook is available online at www.harmanwrightmortuary.com .
