Norma J. (Lloyd) Pedersen

Norma J. (Lloyd) Pedersen, 83 years of age, of Beatrice, passed away Sunday, July 16, 2017 at Bryan Medical Center West in Lincoln. She was born on January 12, 1934 in Beatrice to Jess and Grace (Jurgens) Lloyd. Norma graduated from Beatrice High School before graduating as a Registered Nurse from Lincoln General Hospital in 1955. She worked in the ER at Bryan Memorial in Lincoln and then in Medical Records at Beatrice Community Hospital. Norma married Charles Pedersen on April 16, 1983 in Lincoln. She was a member of Eastridge Presbyterian Church in Lincoln. Norma lived a full and adventurous life and enjoyed antiques, collectibles and traveling.

Norma is survived by her husband, Charles; 2 sons, Jeff Towle and wife Patty of Ft. Pierce, Florida, Randy Towle of Lincoln; brother, Dale Lloyd and wife Marilyn of Lincoln; and 2 nephews, Bruce Lloyd and wife Chris and Russ Lloyd and wife Cindi, both of Lincoln. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, July 21, 2017 at Harman-Wright Mortuary in Beatrice with Rev. Dr. Melodie Jones Pointon officiating. A family prayer service will be held at 9:45 AM at the mortuary on Friday. Interment will follow in the Filley Cemetery. Visitation will be held from noon to 8 PM Thursday, July 20, 2017 at Harman-Wright Mortuary in Beatrice. Memorials are suggested to the Eastridge Presbyterian Church or the Filley Cemetery in care of the mortuary. Harman-Wright Mortuary in Beatrice in charge of arrangements.
