Dick and Family,
I had the oddest feeling that I needed to contact you and I just couldn't shake that feeling. (One of those God winks.) I got on line to see if I could find your address and on doing so, found that your father had passed. A day too late to attend the Memorial. I would have preferred to express my condolences in person. I know how close you all were to your father and he will be missed. He was a special man who could always bring a smile to my face. You and your entire family are in my thoughts and prayers.

I will always remember Richard from when I worked at Booth Feed. I always enjoyed talking to him then and the random times I saw him in the last several years. So sorry to hear about his passing.

Richard was such a caring husband, father and father-in-law. He gave most of his life caring for others. He had a smile on his face and always saw the good in all things. He never complained.
My fondest memories were the family dinners he hosted at his house, firing up the grill. He was a great cook! He loved to entertain and spend time with family.
He was a man of great faith and trusted in God. Richard was definitely one of a kind and will be missed.
My sympathy goes out to all the family.
