Patricia (Pat) Nadine (Barker) Tucker, 83, of Beatrice, Nebraska died at the Beatrice Manor on July 9, 2015. She was born on June 14, 1932 at Seneca, KS and attended Seneca High School. She was married to James Oliver Tucker on June 30, 1951 at the Centenary United Methodist Church in Beatrice and they lived in Plymouth and then Beatrice until her death.
She was a waitress at several area restaurants and a CNA at Beatrice Hospital and Parkview Care Center. She was a member of the Centenary United Methodist Church of Beatrice where she was a member of the United Methodist Women and the Asbury-Epworth Circle. She was a former Cub Scout leader, past president of the Stoddard School PTA, member of the Legion Auxiliary, AmVets Auxiliary, a life member of the VFW Auxiliary and was a member of the Federated Women of Beatrice.
Survivors include husband of 64 years, Jim, two sons, James R. (Carol) of Lincoln and Terry A. (Tracy). Four grandchildren, Rhonda, Cassie, Drake, Duncan; Two sisters-in-law , Carole Barker of Montezuma, IA, Clara Barker of Georgia; several nieces, nephews and grand-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Flossie (Sedam) Barker; four siblings, James B. Barker, Betty J. Gilbert, Robert E. Barker, Jackie L. Barker; one grand-daughter, Donita Renae Tucker.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at Harman Wright Mortuary of Beatrice with Pastor Mark Schutt, officiating. Burial will be in the Evergreen Home Cemetery of Beatrice. Visitation will be held at the Harman-Wright Mortuary 9AM -9PM Monday and one hour preceding services on Tuesday. A register book is also available online at www.harmanwrightmortuary.com for messages of condolence. A memorial has been established to the Family’s Choice with the mortuary in charge.
