My heart and prayers go out to you all. I had the privilege of working for/with Loree in a couple different capacities at the Beatrice State Developmental Center.
She was a staunch, fervent advocate for people with physical and intellectual disabilities. She was a strong leader and encouraging person to her staff and in others seeking higher education. She loved her team, and she loved her family so much. Family was her favorite topic, you meant the world to her.

My dearest sister, you are so missed, even only one day after your passing. I will keep your memory and your love deep in my heart. Never could I have ever imagined the day would come where I wouldn't have my sister to call, to lean on, to confide in. You leave behind a great legacy in the family you created.
