Linda Kay (Vlasak) Oltman

Linda K. (Vlasak) Oltman, 67 years of age, of Wilber, passed away Tuesday, August 18, 2015 at her home. She was born in Crete on December 17, 1947 to Lawrence and Alice (Filipi) Vlasak. Linda was a graduate of Wilber High School. She loved caring for people and worked many years at the Wilber Care Center in Wilber. Linda enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Linda is survived by a daughter, Bobbi Greenwood and husband Monty of Wilber; 2 sons, Jeff Placek of Sikeston, Missouri, Jay Placek and wife Sarah of Lincoln; 5 grandchildren, Halie and Hanna Placek, Alex Stern, Caden and Cody Placek; mother, Alice Vlasak of Wilber; sister, Paula Quincy and husband Bud of Spalding; 2 brothers, Larry Vlasak and wife Jo, Gordon Vlasak and wife Brenda, both of Wilber; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father; daughter-in-law, Karyn Placek; grandson, Sidney Stern; and a brother, Robert Vlasak.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Harman-Wright Mortuary in Beatrice in charge of arrangements.
