Kenneth Eugene Colgrove

Kenneth Eugene Colgrove was born to Harold (Dick) Colgrove and Nadine Weber on November 15, 1953 and passed away on April 24, 2015 at his home in Wymore, Nebraska. He and Debra Owens were married on June 21, 2008. Kenny did upholstery and drove a maintainer; he worked in the oil fields in Ark. until his heart wouldn’t let him. He loved to camp, fish, and boat, garden, can, and also do upholstery. He loved Nebraska football and enjoyed many gatherings with him and Deb and friends for football Saturdays. His favorite beverage was Dr. Pepper. He loved his Classic Rock and 50's and 60's music. He also loved his four-legged grandsons Oscar and Jiggles and cat Josie Lynn.

He is survived by his wife, Debra Sue; daughters, Melissa Nelson and husband Mike, Amanda Morrisey and special friend Ken, and Dena Maguire and special friend Chris; step-daughters, Jessica Franzen, Becky Pralle and husband Jason, and Amber Owens-Everhart and special friend Dustin; brothers, Jerry Colgrove from Coos Bay, Oregon, Dale Colgrove and wife Linda from DeWitt, Nebraska, his mother-in-law, Lois Herling; sister-in-laws; brother-in-laws; many nieces and nephews; and grandchildren Lexi, Landon, Adian, Dinnie, Gaven, Alicia, Ryan, and Drew.

He was preceded in death by his father, Harold (Dick) Colgrove; mother, Nadine Fern Weber, and grandmother, Tillie Koll.

Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Monday, April 27th at the Harman-Wright Mortuary with Pastor Clayton Lundstedt, officiating.  Burial will be in the Wymore Cemetery.  Visitation will be held at the Harman-Wright Mortuary from Noon- 8:00 p.m. Sunday with the family greeting friends from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. and 9:00 a.m. until time of service on Monday. A register book is also available online at www.harmanwrightmortuary.com for messages of condolence.  A memorial is established to the Family’s Choice.  Harman-Wright Mortuary in charge of arrangements.
