Linda, Laurence and Amanda - No matter how old we are, losing a husband and a father is one of the deepest sorrows a heart can know. But his goodness, his caring, and his wisdom live on -- like a legacy of love that will always be with you. May the memory of Howard's love surround you now and bring you peace.
Howard was a wonderful friend and neighbor to my mother when she lived across the street from you guys, and because of that you became very good friends of mine. I will always remember Howard as a fun loving guy. You guys are all very special to me and my prayers are with you.

I had the joy and privilege to work for and learn from Howard. I worked for Howard on week nights after school at SCC Milford from 1999 to 2001. He even gave me the opportunity to help him teach. Howard was like a second father to me as well as a mentor. He was and still is a blessing in my life. I will miss you old friend.

To the family, please accept my heartfelt sympathy for your loss, and may you find comfort as I have in these Bible promises from God, who "comforts us in all our trials."--Isaiah 25:8; John 5:28, 29; 2 Corinthians 1:4.

I didnt know Howard for very long. He was my welding instructor when i went through college at SCC in milford from 05 to late 06. But from that time, he instilled a sense of pride in what he did, and encouraged me to carry that along and do the same. Your family will be in my prayers.

Howard touched people's lives in a special way. He will never be forgotten, as his mark on this world was strong and special. Missed always, forgotten never. I feel great sympathy for your family to have lost such a vital part, but as you pull even closer to each other, your ability to accept and continue will grow.
Love you always, Kay

Sorry for your loss. I was sad to hear about his passing. Howard was a great teacher and taught me quite a few things about welding, but there are a few things I will take with me in life that pertain to more than that. Wishing your family well and again my deepest condolences.
