Doug,
You may not remember me as it has been quite sometime. We used to work together in the Arc Mod group. I was an AA in that group. I am deeply touched by the loss of your sweet wife. I also lost my spouse back in 2012 and understand how hard it is to lose your best friend.
From my experience, things will get easier. Time brings healing and teaches you how to cope with learning to live without her. Believe it or not, you'll learn a new way of life and things won't always be this hard. However, even when you get into your new routine, you will never forget her as she will always be with you in your heart and your memories. I hope you can find comfort in knowing that you'll see her again one beautiful day in Heaven.
In the meantime, I hope you can find comfort in precious memories you had with her. It looks like you took some amazing trips so at least you got to experience some very special things with her. I'll pray for peace for you and your family.

Mr. Jensby, I spoke with you for a moment before boarding the plane when we flew home from San Francisco. Please know, you and your family have stayed on my mind and in my heart. I'm glad to see you have been able to arrange a service for your wife. That makes me think the work of putting her to rest has transpired fairly quickly.
