William "Pat" Barber

William “Pat” Barber, 65 years of age, of Beatrice passed away unexpectedly Thursday, September 29, 2022. He was born in Beatrice on August 13, 1957 to Darwin and Elizabeth (McKee) Barber. Pat graduated from Beatrice High School in 1975. He loved his animals, volunteering at the Beatrice Humane Society, riding his scooter, camping, fishing and the outdoors.

Pat is survived by his children, Eric Barber and wife Dawn of Salem, Oregon, Haley Carpenter and husband Paul, Sherry Clark and husband Preston, both of Ashland, Ryan Barber and wife Jill of Lincoln, Allison Wells of Omaha; step-daughter, Ashley Moser and husband Matt of Lincoln; grandchildren, Owen, Eva and Chloe Barber, Mason and Spencer Miles, Anden Barber, AJ Clark, Ariana and Ella Barber, Alayna, Livian and Skylar Wells, Myla Moser; and brothers, Mike Barber and wife Marliana of California, Steve Barber of Missouri. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Jack Barber; and sisters, Jane Aden and Theresa Barber.

Services will be held at a later date. Memorials are suggested to the family’s choice in care of the mortuary. Harman-Wright Mortuary & Crematory in Beatrice in charge of arrangements.
