Wayne H. Lucas

Wayne H. Lucas, 68 years of age, of Beatrice passed away Sunday, April 18, 2021 at Bryan Medical Center East in Lincoln. He was born on October 30, 1952 in Denver, Colorado to Wayne and Beatrice (Smith) Lucas. Wayne graduated from North High School in Denver, Colorado. He married Sandra Pinner on January 6, 1978 and to this union two children were born, Ely and Heather. Wayne was a truck driver the majority of his life. He enjoyed fishing and especially spending time with his grandchildren.

Wayne is survived by his children, Ely Lucas and wife Serena of Broomfield, Colorado, Heather Lucas of Lincoln; grandchildren, Austin, Liam, Bailey and Olivia Lucas, Johnny Lucas; and ex-wife, Sandra Reed of Fairbury. He was preceded in death by his parents.

There will be no services at this time. Memorials are suggested to the family’s choice in care of the mortuary. Harman-Wright Mortuary & Crematory in Beatrice in charge of arrangements.
