Thomas "Tommy" H. Hook

Thomas “Tommy” H. Hook, 69 years of age, of Beatrice passed away Saturday, December 17, 2022 at CHI Health Lakeside in Omaha. He was born on September 1, 1953 in Queens, New York. Tommy served his country in the United States Air Force. He was a jack of all trades and worked many jobs including at Brunswick Hospital in New York, Irwin Tools in DeWitt, Walmart in Lincoln and Beatrice, McDonalds in Beatrice and Roca Berry Farm. Tommy enjoyed Halloween, Christmas, helping neighbors, making friends and especially time with his grandchildren.

Tommy is survived by his significant other, Suzzy Butler of Beatrice; children, Thomas “TJ” Hook of Wisconsin; daughter, Regina Schmiechen of Madison, Wisconsin; step children, Orlando “Chuck” Ortiz and significant other, Patricia Hitchcock, Maria Holtry and husband Cody, Sharon Fischer, Jonathan Fischer-Charles and husband John, all of Beatrice; grandchildren, Adam and Nathan; step grandchildren, Jason, Dixie, Destiny, Alice, Josie, Jalen, Savanah; his dogs, Larry, Lilly, Sunny, Dorothy; and several cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father; and brothers, Robert Hook and Harold Hook Jr.

There will be no services at this time. Cremation has taken place. Memorials are suggested to the family’s choice in care of the mortuary. Harman-Wright Mortuary & Crematory in Beatrice in charge of arrangements.
