Shantel Marie (Scott) Buck, 51 years of age, of Beatrice passed away unexpectedly on Friday, November 17, 2023. She was born in Wahoo on June 4, 1972 to Cyril and Alberta (Graham) Scott. Shantel worked at BSDC for 9 years and enjoyed drinking coffee, computer games, painting with diamonds and especially going to her children’s and grandchildren’s activities.

Shantel is survived by her husband, Steve Buck; children, Ashley Zimmerman, Jordan Buck, all of Beatrice, Shelby Buck of Auburn, Brenden Buck of Beatrice; granddaughter, Ashlynn Zimmerman; brother, Rob Scott and wife Michelle of Missouri; sister, Billie Meade of Kansas; mother-in-law, Evon Jo Buck; brother-in-law, Kevin Buck both of Arizona; and sister-in-law, Jennifer Buck and husband James of Washington. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Tonya Scott; grandparents, Dwight Graham and Marjorie Brown; and father-in-law, Keith Buck.
