Roy “Slim” Kirk Bradley, 73, formerly of rural Martell, Nebraska was born on April 16, 1951, in Alliance, Nebraska to Orville and Faye (Blood) Bradley. He graduated from Mullen High School with the class of 1969. On June 25, 1988, Slim was united in marriage to Carol Martinez at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Lincoln, Nebraska. In August of 1997, the couple moved to a farm near Martell, Nebraska where Slim raised, bred, and trained quarter horses. He was a lifetime member of the American Quarter Horse Association and American Border Collie Association.
Slim passed away on Sunday, June 2, 2024, at the Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Beatrice, Nebraska having reached the earthly age seventy-three years, one month, and seventeen days. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Jim and Con Bradley and an infant brother Gary Dale.
Slim is survived by his loving wife Carol of rural Martell, NE; 3 stepchildren, 4 grandchildren, 2 brothers and a sister.
Slim will be cremated, and no services will be held at this time. Memorials contributions are suggested to the family’s choice in care of the mortuary with a later designation.
