Rosemary “Rozi” (Hautzenroder) Bartram, 72 years of age, of Lincoln passed away surrounded by family Thursday, June 13, 2019. She was born on December 23, 1946 in Hillsboro, Oregon to William and Marjorie (Hiner) Hautzenroder. Rozi worked as a microbiologist in a laboratory for the state of Nebraska for 42 years. She was a former member of Centenary United Methodist Church in Beatrice. Rozi enjoyed bird watching, flowers, her dogs Bizzy and Jaxon who she referred to as “The Boys”, boating, dancing, music, Jack Daniels and spending time with her family and grandchildren.
Rozi is survived by her spouse, Ray Wattjes of Lincoln; sons, Tony Bartram and wife Barb of Beatrice, Canaan “Hot Dog” Wattjes of Lincoln; grandchildren, Kelsea Light and husband Charles, Kile Bartram and significant other Megan Smith, Jazlynn Wattjes, all of Lincoln; great grandson, Dawson arriving in August; brother, Bruce Hautzenroder and wife Cathy of Lincoln; sister-in-law, Kathleen Hautzenroder of Sacramento, California; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Benny Bartram; brothers, William Hautzenroder, Robert “Hautz” Hautzenroder; and sister, Beverly Mackin and husband John Patrick.
Per Rozi’s request, there will be no visitation or services at this time. Memorials are suggested to the family’s choice in care of the mortuary. Harman-Wright Mortuary and Crematory in Beatrice in charge of arrangements.
