Ray A. Moody

Ray A. Moody “Skip”, 71 years of age, of Wymore, Nebraska passed away Wednesday, April 19, 2023 at Bryan Medical Center West in Lincoln, Nebraska. He was born in Clay Center, Kansas on October 3, 1951. Ray married Belinda Bierbaum and to this union were born four children, DeeDee, Tina, Charles and Robert. They later divorced. Ray was an avid pool player and fisherman.

Ray is survived by his children, DeeDee (Troy) Anderson of Clay Center, Kansas and their children, Kaden, Jacobi, Zane and Kardell, Tina (Jason) Nelson of Beatrice, Nebraska and their children, Dawson and Taylor (Patrick) Dvorak, Charles (Amber) Moody of Geneva, Nebraska and their daughter, Hillary Skye, Robert (Cassandra) Moody of Odessa, Missouri and their children, Connor and Kason; sisters, Barbara Straub of Clay Center, Kansas, Janet Jacobs of Gering, Nebraska; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister, Marguerite Collette; and brothers-in-law, Anthony Straub, Dave Jacobs and Don Collette.

A celebration of life will be held from 2 to 5 PM Saturday, April 29, 2023 at Idle Hour Bar in Clay Center, Kansas. Harman-Wright Mortuary & Crematory in Beatrice in charge of arrangements.
