Ralph C. Jensen

Ralph Clifford Jensen, age 98, of Fairbury passed away at home amidst his family on Monday, November 10, 2025. Ralph was born March 6, 1927 on the family farm in Cushing, Nebraska, to Clifford and Anna Margaret (Hansen) Jensen. He attended country school District #6, and graduated in 1944 from Cushing High School. In 1945 he joined the Army services and trained in Camp Fannin. From 1945-1946 he served in WWII at Fort Knox as Sargent and Company Clerk. After honorable discharge he returned home to work on the family farm. He was later joined in marriage to Eleanor Mae Harvey on March 10, 1951. To this marriage was born one child Jerrol Lee Jensen. In his early life he worked at Deers Motor Ford Garage. Thereafter, he worked for decades for United Airlines & retired in 1984. Still needing his services, he created RAELCO & contracted with United multiple years. After the death of his wife Eleanor, he was again blessed in marriage November 9, 1996 to Jean Reed Knudson. Together they had 30 years of fun, commitment and blessings with family.

Ralph was an 50+ year Master Mason of the Grand Lodge of Nebraska: Masonic Lodge #210 of Lincoln & Masonic Lodge of St Paul , longtime member of The Eastern Star, Rotary Club, and The Sesostris Shriners Club. He was recognized by the governor for his military service of WWII. And lastly, he especially loved his family and was a pillar to each and every one.

He was proceeded in death by his parents Clifford & Anna Jensen, brother Howard  and wife Eleanor (Harvey) Jensen.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife Jean of Fairbury; children (spouse) Jerry (Pam) Jensen of Lincoln; stepchildren Darren Knudson of Lincoln, Heather (Jim) Maschman of Daykin, Clint Hummer of Hickman, and Evan (Wendy) Jones of Western; grandchildren Tyler (Hope) Finke of Omaha, Chris & Reis Jensen of Lincoln, Caya Knudson & Zachary of Lincoln, Dylon (Carolyn) Knudson of Lincoln, Brooke (Brandon) Krum of Lincoln, Austin Massa of Daykin, Ashley Hummer of Lincoln, Gabriel Jones of Western; great grandchildren Rylan, Brooklyn, Gretalyn, Kyler & Grayson Knudson.

A Celebration of Ralph's Life will be held from 1-5 PM on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at The Beatrice Legion Club. Additionally, on Saturday December 6, 2025, there will be a 1 PM graveside services at St Paul Cemetery in St. Paul, Nebraska, with a 2 PM reception following at Miletta Vista Winery 1732 Highway 281 St. Paul, Nebraska.  Services are entrusted to Harman Wright Mortuary & Cremation.
