Peggy Maye (Wood) Young

Peggy Mae (Wood) Young, 88 years of age, of Beatrice passed away Friday, March 28, 2025 at the Good Samaritan Society in Beatrice. She was born on May 8, 1937 in Fort Collins, Colorado. After graduating from Beatrice High School, she started her first job at Beatrice Board Public Works for 55 years until she retired.

A graveside inurnment will be held on May 8th, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Evergreen Home Cemetery in Beatrice with Jon Palmquist officiating. A luncheon will follow at the Veteran’s Club in Beatrice.
