Patricia “Berda” Creek, 68, of Beatrice, passed away on, Monday, April 20, 2020 at her home, surrounded by her loving family. Patricia was born on August 18, 1951 in Charles City, IA.

On November 18, 1966, Patricia was united in marriage to Carl “Fred” Creek. To this union they were blessed with three children, Carla, Mark and Lorie.

Patricia was always happy and just loved life. She always saw the bright side of things, was a hard worker and never complained. Patricia had a beautiful singing voice and some of the things she enjoyed were playing cards, going to the drive-in theater, dancing and watching her brother and nephews race cars. Patricia especially loved her grandchildren; she was happiest when cradling one in each arm.

Patricia was preceded in death by her father, Edwin Bohlmeyer; mother, Geraldine (King) Vater.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Fred of Beatrice; children and spouses, Mark (Angi) Creek of Cortland, NE, Carla (Dave) Behrens of Crete, NE and Lorie (Dan) Hansen of Beatrice. Grandchildren, Cody (Amy Heideman) Creek of Virginia, NE, Preston (Tashawni) Creek of Beatrice, Cameron (Abi Peters) Creek of Lincoln, Brandon (Michele Gartner) Creek, Tyler Creek, Travis (Hilary) Creek and all of Beatrice, Aaron (Ashley) Smith of Iowa, Ryan (Vanessa) Smith of Sioux City, IA and Cara (Jeremy) Little of Beatrice; 14 great grandchildren; siblings; George Bohlmeyer and Danny Bohlmeyer and Brenda (Norm) Sutton all of Wymore, Rodney (Kay) Bohlmeyer of Blue Springs, NE, Tommy (Sandy) Bohlmeyer of Salem, Indiana, Randy (Kathy) Vater of MO., Sandy (Randy) Banks of Beatrice; close friends; Mary Jane Pickett and Carolyn Koch.

A celebration of Patricia’s Life will be held at a later date. A memorial is suggested to AseraCare Hospice with the mortuary in charge. A guestbook is available at www.harmanwrightmortuary.com Harman-Wright Mortuary in charge of arrangements.
