Pamela J. (Chapman) Stierwalt

Pamela J. (Chapman) Stierwalt, 70 years of age, of Wymore passed away Friday, May 24, 2024 at Beatrice Health and Rehabilitation in Beatrice. She was born on April 20, 1954 in San Diego, California to John and Marlene (Kohler) Chapman. Pam graduated from Southern High School in 1972. That same year, she married Jim Scholle and they later divorced. Pam worked at FormFit in Fairbury before moving to Manhattan, Kansas. She moved to Beatrice and married Larry Brecht. They were married until his death. Pam worked at Exmark Manufacturing in Beatrice and retired from there in 2014. On January 30, 2010, she married William “Bud” Stierwalt. Pam was a member of Immanuel State Line Church south of Wymore and enjoyed gardening, fishing, camping, boating, board games, flowers, dancing, music and especially time with her grandchildren.

Pam is survived by her husband, William “Bud” Stierwalt; daughters, Stephanie Scholle and significant other Shawn Miller, Jennifer James and significant other Keith Baker, both of Huntsville, Alabama; step children, Kristi Niederklein and husband Derek of Lincoln, Jessica Stierwalt and significant other Zach Moyer of Beatrice, Shane Stierwalt of Hallam, Faith Pohlman of Beatrice; mother, Marlene Christiansen of Beatrice; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; brother, Danny Chapman of Missouri; sister, Sheri Argo and husband Dan of Marysville, Kansas; brothers-in-law, Stan Stierwalt of Missouri, Bob Stierwalt and wife Joan of St. Louis, Missouri, Ron Stierwalt of Springfield, Missouri, Joseph Stierwalt and wife Kimba of Beatrice; sisters-in-law, Leighann McDonald of Olathe, Kansas, Vicki Lau; father-in-law, Billy Stierwalt, both of Beatrice; and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father; brother-in-law, Bradley Stierwalt; mother-in-law, Faith Stierwalt; and sister-in-law, Patricia Stierwalt.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 AM Wednesday, May 29, 2024 at Immanuel (Stateline) Lutheran Church south of Wymore with Pastor Jim Ernst officiating. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 28, 2024 at Harman-Wright Mortuary in Beatrice from 2 to 8 PM with family greeting friends from 6 to 8 PM. Memorials are suggested to the family’s choice in care of the mortuary. Harman-Wright Mortuary & Crematory in Beatrice in charge of arrangements.
