Mary Ellen (Prentice) Larson

Mary Ellen (Prentice) Larson, 83 years of age, of Odell passed away Wednesday, October 9, 2024 at Beatrice Community Hospital and Health Center. She was born on July 19, 1941 in Washington, D.C. to Robert and Helen (Graham) Prentice. Mary graduated from high school in Denver, Colorado. She moved to Nebraska and lived the last 49 years in Odell. Mary was a loyal employee at Exmark Manufacturing in Beatrice until her health forced her to retire. She enjoyed Colorado Avalanche Hockey, watching the Hallmark channel, crossword puzzles and especially her family.

Mary is survived by her children, Becky Hilbrecht and husband Bob of Fort Lupton, Colorado, Willie Riley of Commerce City, Colorado, Charity Larson of Houston, Texas; grandchildren, Richard Riley, Cody Riley, Tristian Larson; and 3 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Donnie Riley; and sister, Glenda Drummer.
