Marvin J. Snyder, Sr.

Marvin J. Snyder, Sr., 76 years of age, of Fairbury passed away Friday, August 25, 2023 at the Good Samaritan Society in Beatrice. He was born on June 26, 1947 in Madison, South Dakota. Marvin attended school in Madison, South Dakota. He served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War from November 8, 1965 to December 9, 1968. Marvin was a handyman all of his life. He married Debra Wolf on June 27, 2010. Marvin enjoyed collecting, listening to music, computers and watching TV.

Marvin is survived by his wife, Debra; sister, Shirley Howell and husband Vega of Missouri; and other extended family. He was preceded in death by his mother, LeOris Carlson; sister-in-law; and brothers-in-law.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, August 28, 2023 at Harman-Wright Mortuary in Beatrice with Pastor David Bigley officiating. Interment with military rites will follow in the Evergreen Home Cemetery in Beatrice. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services on Monday. Memorials are suggested to the family’s choice in care of the mortuary. Harman-Wright Mortuary & Crematory in Beatrice in charge of arrangements.
