Marie Kitt

Marie Kitt, 95, of Beatrice, Nebraska, died Monday, October 31, 2022 at Beatrice Good Samaritan Center. She was born August 27, 1927 to Fred and Agness (Riley) Linsenmeyer. She was a baptized and confirmed child of God. Marie grew up on a farm in the area of Blue Springs. She attended school at Holmesville. After marriage, she moved to California. In her later years she returned to Nebraska.

Marie is survived by her daughter, Alvena McCrea of Beatrice; sister, Helen Mae Burger of Dewitt; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Kitt; sons, Roland and Norman Lancaster; brothers, Ernest, Alfred, Kenneth; and sisters, Wilma Bolander, Paralee Richardson, Elsie Claassen, Kathryn Claassen, Lena Linsenmeyer (infant) and Alma Spier.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, November 4, 2022 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Beatrice, NE, with Pastor Daryn Bahn officiating. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Home Cemetery, Beatrice, NE. Visitation will be at St. Paul’s, one hour prior to the service on Friday. A memorial has been established to the Family’s Choice with the mortuary in charge. Harman-Wright Mortuary & Crematory in Beatrice in charge of arrangements.
