Lori Ann (Wehmer) Mays

Lori Ann Mays, 58, of Beatrice, NE died Saturday, September 4, 2021 at Bryan Medical Center East in Lincoln. She was born June 23, 1963 in Beatrice to Gaylord and Beverly (McCoy) Wehmer.  She attended School at Lewiston, NE. Lori in her younger years was in 4-H, enjoyed playing softball and volleyball. She enjoyed gardening cooking for the family, her cats and especially her grandchildren.  She had a big heart and always had a smile for everyone.  Lori worked as a dietary planner for Bergan Mercy Hospitals in Omaha. 

Survivors include husband, Ted Jones of Beatrice; daughter, Robin Crouse and husband Bill of Beatrice; 4 grandchildren, Diamond and husband Tyler of Hickman, NE, Justin of Rulo, NE, Bryleigh an Corbin of Beatrice; great-grandson, Axel of Hickman; sister, Gail Frahm of Lincoln; niece and nephew, Holly Rhodes and husband Jerry of West Virginia, Shawn Frahm of Kearney; step-daughter, Breanna Jones of Krimlin, OK; father-in-law, Ted Jones of Waynoka, OK; brothers-in-law, Sam Jones and wife Tamera, and Bill Jones and wife Joyce all of OK.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Steve Wehmer; mother-in-law, Mary Jones; and brother-in-law, Jim Jones. 

Graveside services will be held 11:00 AM, Thursday, September 9, 2021 at the Lewiston Cemetery with Pastor David Bigley officiating. A celebration of Lori’s life will follow at Jeannie's Place in Lewiston.
