Lois May Lampe, age 89, of Englewood Colorado, passed away on Tuesday, March 19 2024. She was born on November 10, 1934 in Beatrice, the daughter of Anton and Minnie Moser. Lois attended Beatrice High School and later went on to marry Donald Lampe on June 21, 1952 in Beatrice. Lois was a homemaker until her and Don bought a Gambles store where she worked for several years. Then later she worked at Hinky Dinky as a meat wrapper and at an office supply store until her retirement. She enjoyed crafting, reading, baking and later was content to watch the Hallmark channel. Lois was a patient and kind person who always had a smile on her face. She was well-loved by many.
Lois is survived by her children, Jenni Dougherty (Tony Griffen) of Lincoln, Jeff (Sara) Lampe of Draper, Utah and Jill (Joseph) Sandoval of Aurora, Colorado; grandchildren, Robin (Matt) Kosmicki of Lincoln, Tara Donovan (Dirk) of Richland, Wisconsin, Kaisha Chavez (Ryan) of Salt Lake City, Utah, Joey Sandoval of Aurora, Colorado, Paige Cook (Kreig) of Blanchard, Oklahoma, Kenneth Lampe of Draper, Utah, Rachel (Todd) Wadsworth, Sara (Seth) Neilson of Richland, Washington, James Soderquist and John Soderquist; and great grandchildren, Presley Kosmicki, Brooklynn Kosmicki, Tekla Donovan, Gus Donovan and Lincoln Cook. She was preceded in death by her parents, Anton and Minnie; husband, Don Lampe; sisters, Joann, Norma and Wilma; and one brother, Robert.
Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, July 27, 2024 at Harman-Wright Mortuary in Beatrice with Chaplain Sharon Schuster officiating. Memorials are suggested to the American Kidney Association in care of the mortuary. Harman-Wright Mortuary & Crematory in Beatrice in charge of arrangements.
