Lois Ann (Poppe) Dittbrenner

Lois Ann (Poppe) Dittbrenner, 76 of Western, NE, passed away Tuesday April 27, 2021 at Bryan West Medical Center of Heart-Kidney failure. She was born May 30, 1944 at Chester, NE. She was baptized, confirmed and married at St. John Lutheran Church of Chester, NE. Lois married Paul Dittbrenner on June 3, 1962. She worked many years for a local grocery store in Western. Lois was an avid sewer and reader. She served many years on the SBPL board in Western.

Survivors include her husband, Paul of Western; children, Mark (Joey) Dittbrenner of Deposit, NY, Philip (Karen) Dittbrenner of Beatrice, NE and Joni (James) Morin of Omaha, NE; granddaughters, Kendra (Travis) Sand of Beatrice and Hope Morin of Omaha; grandsons, Colt and Ty Dittbrenner of Beatrice; great grandson, Griffin Sand of Beatrice; brother, Bernie (Roberta) Poppe of Lincoln; several nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by her parents Rudolph and Clara (Kuhnemund) Poppe; brother, Harold Poppe; sister, Wilma Poppe and great granddaughter, Kennedy Sand.

The family of Lois Ann Dittbrenner invities you to the Western Fire Hall, Saturday, May 8, 2021 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM to honor her with a celebration of life "Tea". No visitation cremation has taken place. Harman-Wright Mortuary in charge of arrangements.
