Lillie F. (McFall) Thomas

Lillie F. (McFall) Thomas, 78 years of age, of Beatrice passed away Saturday, January 25, 2020 at Bryan Medical Center West in Lincoln. She was born on February 11, 1941 in Bakersfield, California to James Sr. and Goldie (Smith) McFall. Lillie married Melvin Thomas on August 5, 1962. She made and decorated cakes for many years. Lillie attended Westside Baptist Church in Beatrice and was a member of the Wymore American Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed cake decorating, traveling, teaching Sunday School, being a Girl Scout Leader and especially her grandchildren.

Lillie is survived by her husband, Melvin; sons, Scott and wife Tina of Beatrice, Anthony and wife Jeannie of Wymore; daughter, Cynthia Edwards of Beatrice; grandchildren, Jeremy, Kristin, Heather, Courtney and husband Jayson, Ashley and husband Eric; great grandchildren, Allie, Austin, Isabelle, Emily and one on the way; 1 sister; 2 brothers; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; 1 sister; and 1 brother.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 AM Thursday, January 30, 2020 at Westside Baptist Church in Beatrice with Jon Palmquist officiating. Interment will follow in the Blue Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9 AM to 8 PM Wednesday, January 29, 2020 at Harman-Wright Mortuary in Beatrice. Memorials are suggested to the Beatrice Humane Society in care of the mortuary. Harman-Wright Mortuary in Beatrice in charge of arrangements.
