Kristine S. Wehrbein

Kristine S. Wehrbein, 54 years of age, of Beatrice, passed away Monday, June 26, 2023 at Beatrice Community Hospital and Health Center. She was born on November 9, 1968 in Orange, California to Lefty and Susan (Wood) Grant. Kristine graduated from Barstow High School in Barstow, California. She married Boyd Wehrbein Jr. in 1987. Kristine was loved by everyone and enjoyed her beagle puppy Hunter and especially time with her family and grandchildren.

Kristine is survived by her husband, Boyd Jr.; children, Boyd III and wife Brittney of Harrisonburg, Virginia, Chris and fiancée Jessica Curtis, Jessica Taylor and fiancé Ron “D” Robinson, all of Beatrice; grandchildren, Aden, Alexandria, Xavior, Collin, Carson, Cayla, Jordan, Harley, Ben, Cashton, Kameron “Triple Lee”; brothers, Gregory Grant of Barstow, California, Ronnie Rainey of Blue Springs; sister, Stacie Grant; sister-in-law, Tonia Throenle and husband Don; brother-in-law, John Wehrbein and wife Lana, all of Barstow, California; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; and parents-in-law, Boyd Sr. and Yolanda Gidcumb.

No services are being held at this time. Memorials are suggested to the family’s choice in care of the mortuary. Harman-Wright Mortuary & Crematory in Beatrice in charge of arrangements.
