Kathryn Rae (Goosman) Young

Kathryn Rae (Goosman) Young, 65 years of age, passed away Monday, April 19, 2021. She was born in David City on June 2, 1955 to Milton and Noma (Marquis) Goosman. Kathy spent the majority of her life providing daycare to the Beatrice community. She enjoyed time with her children and especially time with her grandchildren.

Kathy is survived by her children, Tonya Aksamit of Beatrice, Justin Stewart of Tecumseh, Shawn Wagoner and wife Sara of Fremont; grandchildren, Karinna, Kimberley, Kyleigh, Tiara, Tristan, Braylen, Ava, Carter, Maverick and Berklee; sister, Mary James of Campbell; and brothers, John Goosman of Fairbury, Tom Deepe and significant other Becky Hayes of Beatrice and Bob Goosman. She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Dave Goosman.

The family will hold a celebration of life from noon to 4 PM on Saturday, May 1, 2021 at Holiday Inn Express in Beatrice. Memorials are suggested to the family’s choice in care of the mortuary. Harman-Wright Mortuary & Crematory in Beatrice in charge of arrangements.
