Judy Kay (Schank) Feit

Judy Kay (Schank) Feit, 75 years of age, of Beatrice passed away unexpectedly Sunday, November 17, 2019 at Beatrice Health and Rehabilitation in Beatrice. She was born on May 19, 1944 in Beatrice to Ernest and Ethel (Vicars) Schank. Judy graduated from Beatrice High School in 1962 and attained an associate degree in Psychology from Fairbury Junior College in 1977. She worked several jobs including at the family restaurant at the age of 10, healthcare, as a foster parent for 12 years and lastly as a foster grandparent. Judy was a member of the First Baptist Church, Beatrice Boat and Camper Club, TOPS and CAB Club. She enjoyed camping, reading, crafts, crossword puzzles, her cat Chico and especially time with family, friends and grandchildren.

Judy is survived by her sons, Eric Parde of Beatrice, Sean Parde of San Francisco, California; daughters, Michelle Carney and husband James, Alisa Parde, both of Beatrice; grandchildren, Mark, Hayden, Madison; great grandchild, Luca; sister, Gloria Lyons of San Diego, California; brother, Jim Schank and wife Sheryl of Oregon; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; twin sister, Jane Schank; and brother, Kenney Schank.

Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, November 22, 2019 at the First Baptist Church in Beatrice with Pastor Nolan Hayes officiating. A register book will be available to sign from 9 AM to 5 PM Thursday, November 21, 2019 at Harman-Wright Mortuary in Beatrice. Memorials are suggested to the family’s choice in care of the mortuary.
