John Joseph Laner

John Joseph Laner, 80, Beatrice, NE formerly of Dodge, NE died April 15, 2020 in Beatrice. He was born July 3, 1939 in Phoenix, AZ. John married Wanda Darlene Terry August 31, 1964.  He was a truck driver for many years retiring in 1989 after having a major stroke. John worked for Walmart for 15 years.

Survivors include his wife, Wanda Darlene Laner of Dodge, NE;  daughters, Rhonda Oliva and husband Joe of Beatrice, Tabby Kellogg and husband Luke of Lockesburg, AR, Waunie Kirschner and husband Daniel of Clarkson, NE, Chrystal Good and husband Kevin of Dodge, NE, sister, Roberta Crites and husband Robert of Dodge, NE, grandchildren, Jake, Marvin, Jennifer, Tracy, Troy, Jonathan, Tylinn, Trevor, and Jenna; 12 great grandchildren, many nieces & nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Steven and Edith (Meyer) Laner; granddaughter, Nickie; brother, Sonny and sister, Mada Faye Crites.

Services will be held at a later date. Harman-Wright Mortuary & Crematory of Beatrice in charge of services.
