Jerry Joseph Gose

Jerry Joseph Gose Sr., 78, of Beatrice, NE died on Monday, June 29, 2020 at his home.  He was born on March 19, 1942 in Blue Rapids, KS. He served in the US Navy.  Jerry worked as an assistant foreman for the City of Marysville, KS from the 1960’s until he retired in 1984. He was a bricklayer with his father.  He enjoyed the outdoors, camping, drawing, writing poems and spending time with family.

 He is survived by son, Jerry J. Gose, Jr. and fiancé Lacy of Beatrice; daughter, Kelly Musgrove of Iowa; step-daughters, Rebecca Lester and  Jenny Lester of Topeka, KS, grandchildren, Ryan Musgrove, Taryn Musgrove, Joseph Luke Gose and Samantha R. Gose, great-grandchildren, Kenna Hockman, Michael Hockman, Jr., and Maverick Hockman; sister, Louise Herring of Independence, KS; brother, Donald Gose and wife Debby of Winfield, KS and  David Gose and wife Dianna of Waterloo, NE; sisters-in-law, May Gose of Lincoln, NE and Debbie Gose of Junction City, KS; special friend, Barb Young; numerous nieces and nephews.

 He was preceded in death by parents, John Earl, and Thelma Ruth (Betterton) Gose; siblings, Jack Gose, Leota Wassenberg, Alvin Gose and Betty Zimmerman.
