James Stokes Heinecken, 77 years of age, of Beatrice passed away Sunday, December 29, 2019 at Beatrice Health and Rehabilitation in Beatrice. He was born on January 11, 1942 in Kansas City, Missouri to Dr. Theodore and Edna (Meinberger) Heinecken.

Cremation has taken place and services will be held at a later date. Harman-Wright Mortuary & Crematory in Beatrice in charge of arrangements.
