Garry Lee Fuller, Jr.

Garry Lee Fuller, Jr, 54 years of age, of Beatrice passed away on Tuesday, July 1, 2025. He was a loving son, husband, father, brother, and poppa. Garry was born August 3, 1970, in Dayton Ohio to Garry Sr and Sharon (Garner) Fuller. He grew up in Ohio til the age of 11 and the family moved to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1981. Garry attended Basic High School where he joined ROTC and was on track to join the Marine Corps but unfortunately was rejected due to medical reasons. He met the love of his life, Kenda Parr in February of 1990 in Las Vegas, Nevada, they were married on November 19, 1991. They also welcomed their only son Garry Lee Fuller, III that November as well. Garry and his family moved to Nebraska in 2002 and settled in Beatrice. He was a journeyman electrician, a trade he loved dearly and was so proud of receiving his license. Garry enjoyed working on old cars and riding motorcycles and he had several over the years. He also loved music and if he could get it on vinyl that was always a plus! Garry learned how to play guitar from his dad at a young age and continued playing and he even wrote a few songs! Garry could always find an antique shop, thrift store or garage to stop at in hopes to find something to bring home to add to his collections of many things. Garry’s biggest pride was his wife, son, eldest nephew and grandchildren and he cherished the time he spent with each of them. In 2021 Garry was faced with a life altering life shortening health diagnosis. This allowed Garry the courage and strength to express his sensitive side and did it in a colorful manner  which touched the lives of many who encountered his presence. “ May your final ride be easy, and the road stretch far and wide."

Garry is survived by his  loving wife of 35 years, Kenda Fuller of Beatrice; son, Garry Lee (Megan) Fuller, III; father, Garry Lee (Mary) Fuller, Sr; mother, Sharon Allgood; brother, Craig (Trisha) Fuller, all of Henderson, Nevada; grandkids, Emma, Benji and Korri; step brother, Patrick Rothwell; step sister, Rachel Rothwell, of Henderson, Nevada; mother-in-law, Lynda Parr of Beatrice; sister-in-law, Mindee Reyna of Fairbury; brother-in-law Ken Parr from Texas , nephews, Ralph (Dena) Reyna, and Tyler, Braxton and Luke Fuller; and many other close relatives. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Leland Garner, Joan Garner, Francis Davis, George Fuller; fathers-in-law, Kenneth Parr, John Hayes; and several other close relatives.

After the service we will take a take short motorcycle ride in memory of Garry around town and end at the American legion. 2 wheels or 4 everyone is welcome!! 

Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, July 11, 2025 at Harman-Wright Mortuary in Beatrice with Chaplain Sharon Schuster officiating. There will be no viewing but a register book will be available on Thursday, July 10, 2025 at Harman-Wright Mortuary in Beatrice from noon to 8 PM with family greeting friends from 5 to 7 PM. Memorials are suggested to the family’s choice care of the mortuary. Harman-Wright Mortuary & Crematory in Beatrice in charge of arrangements.
