Eva (Morman) Renz, 88 of Beatrice, passed away on November 6, 2022, at Good Samaritan home. She was born on March 1, 1934, in Washington, Kansas to George and Gertude (Schmidt) Morman..
Eva graduated from Diller high school in 1952, then attended SCC in Fairbury, earning her teaching certificate. She taught Country School just four miles south of town.
Eva and Darrel married on June 16, 1957 at the United Church of Christ. To this union they were blessed with four children; a son, Michael, daughters, Jolene, Gaylen and Kristi.
After being a stay at home mom for many years, Eva and Darrell opened their own business, a bar called Darrell’s Place. They owned and operated their bar in Diller until November of 1981.
Darrell and Eva did custodial work for Diller school (Darrell also drove bus) from 1982 to 1997. They enjoyed going to dances and traveling.
Those left with precious memories of Eva are; son, Michael of Odell, daughters, Jolene of Beatrice, Gaylen of Lexington, and Kristi (Darin) of Beatrice. Grandchildren; Brandon, David, Jarrett and Jocelyn. Greatgrandchildren; Lanie, Adrian, and Zach. Sister in law Evelyn Hale of Beatrice and son-in-law; Bob Newby.
Eva was preceded by her parents; husband Darrell, three brothers; George, Willis and Thomas Morman, four sisters; Mary, Agnes, Effie, and Ellamae, grandson; Lance Newby, daughter in law; Donna Renz, and son in law; James Kirby.
