Ella Mae J. (Kuster) Boone

Ella Mae J. (Kuster) Boone, 82 years of age, of Beatrice, formerly of Salem, Oregon passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at Beatrice Community Hospital and Health Center in Beatrice. She was born on February 19, 1939 to Albert and Luella (Wilson) Kuster. Ella Mae graduated from Logan Magnolia High School in Logan, Iowa in 1957. She married Milton Boone on January 31, 1958 in Woodbine, Iowa. Ella Mae worked as an administrative assistant in insurance and title companies most of her life. She was a follower of Jesus who was devoted to family and was organized, selfless, sacrificial and always put others first. Ella Mae enjoyed sewing, quilting, knitting, baking, camping, gardening and seeing the country.

Ella Mae is survived by her husband, Milton; sons, Jim Boone and wife Cheryl of Philomath, Oregon, Scott Boone and wife Rebecca of Beatrice; grandchildren, Heather Frederick and husband Dylan, Devon Boone and wife Kavida; and great grandchild, Lincoln Frederick. She was preceded in death by her parents; and grandson, Caleb John Boone.

No services are being held at this time. There will be no viewing. Memorials are suggested to the family’s choice in care of the mortuary. Harman-Wright Mortuary & Crematory in Beatrice in charge of arrangements.
