Earleen J. (Milke) Hansel, 75 years of age, of Beatrice passed away on Wednesday, December 10, 2025. She was born on February 13, 1950 in Beatrice to Ralph and Lucille (Reimund) Milke. Earleen graduated from Beatrice High School in 1968. She married Richard Hansel on April 18, 1970 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Beatrice. Earleen was a stay at home mother but later in life after moving back to Nebraska from Marysville, Kansas, she worked at Beatrice Community Hospital. She enjoyed supporting her family, reading and cooking.
Earleen is survived by her daughter, Karen Hansel of Beatrice; granddaughter, Miranda Burkes of Denver, Colorado; brothers-in-law, Robert Hansel and wife Jamie of Lincoln, Frank Conradt; sisters-in-law, Diane Harris and husband David, Mary Hansel, all of Beatrice, Theresa Gingery and husband Tom of Holmesville; nephews, Tracy Milke and wife Deb of Stella, Tim Milke of Cocoa Beach, Florida, Tom Milke and wife Audrey of Stella, Todd Milke and fiancée Ashley Fisher of Humboldt; and several other nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Richard on April 3, 2017; brother, Donald Milke and wife Velda; brother-in-law, Ronald Hansel; and sister-in-law, LuAnn Conradt.
Memorial Services will be held at 1 PM Thursday, December 18, 2025 at Harman-Wright Mortuary in Beatrice with Chaplain Sharon Schuster officiating. Inurnment will follow in the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Beatrice. There will be no viewing but a register book will be available from 9 AM to 5 PM on Wednesday, December 17, 2025 at Harman-Wright Mortuary in Beatrice. Memorials are suggested to the family’s choice in care of the mortuary. Harman-Wright Mortuary & Crematory in Beatrice in charge of arrangements.
