Dennis L. Schroeder

Dennis L. Schroeder, 82 years of age, of Beatrice passed away on Thursday, February 6, 2025. He was born on December 21, 1942 in Beatrice to Frank and Emilie (Rehm) Schroeder. Dennis served his country in the United States Air Force/Nebraska Air National Guard from April 19, 1963 to December 10, 1968. He married Susan M. Ellison in 1966. He worked at Agrium, formerly Cominco, for over thirty years until his retirement. Dennis was a member of the Chemical Workers Union and Bitting-Norman Post #27 of the American Legion. Dennis enjoyed spending time with family, watching car races, golfing, vacations to Colorado and socializing with friends.

Dennis is survived by his son, Jason Schroeder and wife Erica of Lincoln; daughter, Michelle Thiltgen and husband Neil of Lincoln; grandchildren, Hailey and Grayson Schroeder, Maddy and Brynley Thiltgen; and sisters, Jan Schroeder of Aurora, Colorado and Carol Tesar of Lincoln. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Susan on July 21, 2020; brother, F. Howard; and brothers-in-law, Walt Oleksinki and William Tesar.

Private services will be held at a later date. Memorials are suggested to the American Legion Post #27 Scholarship Fund in care of the mortuary. Harman-Wright Mortuary & Crematory in Beatrice in charge of arrangements.
