Dennis E. Morgan

Dennis E. Morgan, 80 years of age, of Beatrice passed away on Tuesday, October 14, 2025 at the Good Samaritan Society in Beatrice. He was born on November 26, 1944 in York to Patrick and Elizabeth (Clausen) Morgan. Dennis served his country in the United States Army from February 17, 1970 to October 18, 1971. He married Kathleen Block on November 21, 1970 in Ulysses. Dennis had a career in agriculture. He enjoyed flea markets, coin collecting, auctions and especially spending time with his grandchildren.

Dennis is survived by his wife, Kathleen; sons, Jerrod Morgan and significant other Vanessa Sides of Rapid City, South Dakota, Damon Morgan and wife Carrie of Waverly; daughter, Wynne Morgan of Beatrice; grandchildren, Caden, Gracie and Caleb Morgan; sisters-in-law, Janet Morgan of Lincoln, Diana Morgan of Omaha, Carolyn Block of Lincoln, Patricia Ebke and husband Dave of Columbus; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; parents-in-law, Elvin and Berdine (Bertram) Block; and brothers, Jim Morgan and John Morgan.

Private graveside services will be held at a later date in the Zastrow Cemetery near Friend. There will be no visitation. Memorials are suggested to the family’s choice in care of the mortuary.  Harman-Wright Mortuary & Crematory in Beatrice in charge of arrangements.
