Delores Ann (Drewes) Busch

Delores Ann (Drewes) Busch, 94 years of age, of Plymouth passed away Tuesday, February 4, 2025 at the Good Samaritan Society in Beatrice. She was born on November 4, 1930 at Plymouth to John Jr. and Frieda (Christ) Drewes. Delores graduated from Plymouth High School in 1948. She married Eugene Busch on September 10, 1950. Delores worked several jobs including as a waitress in the Plymouth and DeWitt areas. She was a lifelong member of St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Plymouth where she was baptized, confirmed and married. Delores enjoyed card club, sports including Husker volleyball and attending all the grandchildren and great grandchildren’s activities.

Delores is survived by her children, Glenda Johnsen of Beatrice, Peggy Lindblad and husband Lonnie of Martell, Doug Busch and wife Theressa of Plymouth, Susan Brandt of Plymouth; nine grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Eugene on February 28, 2021; sons-in-law, Brian Brandt, Roger Johnsen; great grandchildren, John Busch, Dalton Fox; sister-in-law, Marcella Partridge and husband Dean; and brother-in-law, Milton Jordening.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 AM Friday, February 7, 2025 at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Plymouth with Pastor Justin Dauck officiating. The service will be live streamed on the church’s website. Interment will follow in the St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery. A family prayer service will be held at 10:00 AM Friday in the fellowship hall at the church. Visitation will be held from 1 to 8 PM Thursday, February 6, 2025 at Harman-Wright Mortuary in Plymouth. Memorials are suggested to St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church with the church elders in charge. Harman-Wright Mortuary in Plymouth in charge of arrangements.
