Darrel E. Schroeder, 57 of Beatrice, NE passed away at his home surround by family on Tuesday, April 28, 2020. He was born May 25, 1962 in Beatrice to LaVern and Marcella (Licht) Schroeder. Darrel graduated from Beatrice High School in 1981. After graduation Darrel went to work for Burnham Ford as an Auto Detailer, later he worked for Morehead Chevrolet, Spady-Runcie and Carriage Motors. Darrel married Connie on June 18, 2005. He is a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Beatrice. Darrel loved camping, fishing and watching NASCAR Races. His favorite drivers included Dale Earnhardt Sr. & Kevin Harvick. He had an avid passion for his yard and being outdoors. Absolutely loved his dogs, especially Booboo. He enjoyed watching the Royals and Arizona Cardinals. Loved being with family & friends. Darrel was a wonderful role model for many especially his buddy Austin Rains.
Survivors include his wife Connie; sister, Wanda Mae Rains and husband Warren of Beatrice; nephew, Austin Rains of Beatrice; step-daughters, Denise Behrends and husband Brad of Beatrice; Trisha Diekman and husband Nate of Beatrice; and Andrea Lear and Nena of Beatrice; grandchildren, Callen, Lucy, Kiptyn, Liam and Troy; mother-in-law, Karyl Hall of Layfette, IN; sisters-in-law, Debbie Ketterer and husband Doug and Rhonda Carpenter all of Layfette, IN; brother-in-law, Mike Hall and wife Jackie; and several nieces and nephews.

Attendees will be asked to remain in their vehicles and the service will be available by radio broadcast.
Graveside services will be held 10:00 A.M., Monday, May 4, 2020 at Evergreen Home Cemetery, Beatrice with Pastor Ernesto Medina officiating. The Family will greet friends from 10:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Sunday, May 3, 2020 at Harman-Wright Mortuary in Beatrice.
