Conrad LeRoy Baker

Conrad LeRoy Baker, 77 years of age, of Beatrice passed away Thursday, October 3, 2024 at Bryan Medical Center West in Lincoln. He was born on April 30, 1947 in Norfolk to Dallas and Rose (Mostek) Baker. Conrad was a long time resident at the Beatrice State Developmental Center since January 18, 1954. The family would like to thank the staff at BSDC for their love and dedication in taking care of Conrad throughout his lifetime and also the staff at Bryan Health Hospice Care for helping him through his final journey.

Conrad is survived by his brother, Tim Baker; sister, Judy Brugger and husband Howard “Skip”; niece, Katharine “Kate” and Russ Miller; nephews, John and Jessica Baker, Tom Baker, Jacob and Kim Baker; 6 great nieces; and 1 great nephew. He was preceded in death by his parents; and grandparents, Jacob and Clara (Pyrchla) Mostek and Dallas and Florence Baker.

No services will be held at this time. Inurnment will be in the Calvary Cemetery in Omaha at a later date. Memorials are suggested to the donor’s choice in honor of Conrad. Harman-Wright Mortuary & Crematory in Beatrice in charge of arrangements.
