Clyde Everett Trautloff, 70 years of age, of Virginia passed away Thursday, August 20, 2020 at Beatrice Community Hospital and Health Center in Beatrice. He was born on February 10, 1950 in Riverside, California to Clarence and Maxine (Pritchard) Trautloff. Clyde served his country in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War from August 30, 1967 to August 28, 1970. He earned his master’s degree in Criminal Psychology. Clyde spent many years working and traveling as a criminal psychologist. He truly lived life and was a pilot, artist and poet publishing two books. Clyde enjoyed writing poems, playing guitar, music, sailing, flying and especially spending time with his family and grandchildren.
Clyde is survived by his wife, Rosemary; daughter, Meagan Moll of Centre, Alabama; step-daughter, Nikki Dowd of Beatrice; step-son, Mike Thomas of Virginia; grandchildren, Kayla, Shayla, Harley, Selena; dog, Zuke; sister, Joyce Myers of New Mexico; 2 nieces; and 1 nephew. Clyde was preceded in death by is parents.
No services will be held at this time. Memorials are suggested to the family’s choice in care of the mortuary. Harman-Wright Mortuary & Crematory in Beatrice in charge of arrangements.
