Carol Ann (Lehman) Greenwood

Carol Ann (Lehman) Greenwood, 76 years of age, of Beatrice passed away on Thursday, April 9, 2026. She was born in Beatrice on November 17, 1949 to Paul and Irene (Bauer) Lehman. Carol graduated from Beatrice High School. She married Douglas Greenwood on May 14, 1976 at St. John Lutheran Church in Beatrice. Carol’s love in life was the Beatrice Art Guild and all the people involved with it as she considered them all as family. Carol was a Dale Earnhardt fan and enjoyed NASCAR, stock car races and could be found at Beatrice Speedway many weekends. She adored being a member at West Side Baptist Church, people, animals, books and country music.

Carol is survived by her daughter, Angela Lehman of Tulsa; sister-in-law, Sherry Bittfield, brother-in-law, Dallas Parde and wife Ilene, both of Lincoln; and niece, Jocelyn Wiegand and husband Dalton of Beatrice. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Douglas on December 9, 2018; brother, Robert Lehman; niece, Lisa Lehman; and nephew, Jason Lehman.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, April 14, 2026 at West Side Baptist Church in Beatrice with Jon Palmquist officiating. A luncheon will follow in the church basement. There will be no visitation. Memorials are suggested to the Beatrice Art Guild or the Beatrice Humane Society. Harman-Wright Mortuary & Crematory in Beatrice in charge of arrangements.
