Carl "Fred" R. Creek

Carl “Fred” R. Creek, 84 years of age, of Beatrice passed away at his home surrounded by family on Friday, May 2, 2025. He was born on October 4, 1940 in Beatrice to Cecil and Verna (Hackbarth) Creek. Fred attended Wymore High School and married Patricia “Berda” Bohlmeyer on November 18, 1966. He was a truck driver for several years and then retired from Exmark Manufacturing. Fred attended the Wymore Church of Christ and enjoyed fishing, stock car races, playing cards, his grandchildren’s activities, traveling to Disney World and Tennessee before he passed and mini trips with Berda to gamble and play bingo.

Fred is survived by his children, Mark Creek and wife Angi of Beatrice; Carla Behrens and husband Dave of Crete, Lorie Hansen and husband Dan of Beatrice; grandchildren, Cody Creek and significant other Amy Heideman, Preston Creek and wife Tashawni, Cameron Creek and fiancée Abi Peters, Aaron Smith and wife Ashley, Ryan Smith and wife Vanessa, Cara Little and husband Jeremy, Brandon Creek and significant other Michele Gartner, Tyler Creek, Travis Creek and wife Hilary; great grandchildren, Sutton, Jack, Andi, Adalyn, Cambrey, Jaylin, Aubrey, Carly, Espen, Kasha, Braxton, Dalton; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Patricia “Berda” on April 20, 2020; brother, Cecil Creek and wife Patricia; and sister, Pearl Izer.

Memorial Services will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, May 17, 2025 at the Wymore Church of Christ with Pastor Clayton Lundstedt officiating. Inurnment will follow in the Blue Springs Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Memorials are suggested to the family’s choice in care of the mortuary. Condolences may be left online at www.harmanwrightmortuary.com.
