Betty J. (Regnier) Moyer

Betty J. (Regnier) Moyer, 92 years of age, of Adams passed away on Thursday, May 15, 2025. She was born on April 5, 1933 in Clifton, Kansas to Fred and Florence (Cassett) Regnier. Betty graduated from Clifton High School in 1950. She married Charles “Scott” Moyer on June 3 of that same year. Betty earned a bachelor's degree in elementary education from Simpson College in 1969 and taught elementary school in Iowa, Nebraska and Texas. She was a member of Centenary United Methodist Church and the American Legion Auxiliary. Betty enjoyed traveling, cooking and reading.

Betty is survived by her daughters, Kitty Hutchcroft of Round Rock, Texas, Susan Bergmeier and husband Larry of Beatrice; daughter-in-law, Penny Moyer of Johnson City, Tennessee; grandchildren, Jennifer Foster and husband David, Zach Moyer and wife Jessica, Giselle Bergmeier and fiancé Matt Garcia; 7 great grandchildren; brother-in-law, Philip Moyer and wife Virginia of Houston, Texas; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Scott on March 8, 2007; son, Michael Moyer; grandchildren, Amy Hutchcroft, Christian Bergmeier; 2 sisters; 3 brothers; and 1 sister-in-law.

Private family graveside services will be held at a later date in the Evergreen Home Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Memorials are suggested to the family’s choice in care of the mortuary. Harman-Wright Mortuary & Crematory in Beatrice in charge of arrangements.
