Arlean G. (Drewes) Goodson, 95 years of age, of Seward, formerly of Beatrice passed away on Friday, October 17, 2025 at Ridgewood Rehabilitation and Care Center in Seward. She was born on July 27, 1930 in Fairbury to Herman and Clara (Hinz) Drewes. Arlean graduated from Plymouth High School in 1947. She worked several places including the University of Nebraska at Lincoln, Good Samaritan Society as a CNA and at the Steeple House. Arlean married Ronald Goodson in Seneca, Kansas. She enjoyed coloring, collecting dolls and AVON products and caring for people. The family would like to thank all the staff at Ridgewood for the many years of compassionate care for Arlean
Arlean is survived by her daughter, Diane Nollett of Seward; granddaughters, Jennifer Wohlgemuth and significant other Justin Vajgrt, Amanda Blake and significant other Garrett McCall, both of Milford; great grandchildren, Dylan and Kobe Wohlgemuth, Kathryn, Leah, Makayla and Jaxon Blake; and niece, Linda Mancosu of Lincoln. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ronald on May 2, 2017; son, David Wohlgemuth; and sister, Dorothy Ruhnke and husband Ken.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 AM Wednesday, October 22, 2025 at Harman-Wright Mortuary in Beatrice with Pastor David Bigley officiating. Interment will follow in the Evergreen Home Cemetery in Beatrice. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the mortuary on Wednesday. Memorials are suggested to the family’s choice in care of the mortuary. Harman-Wright Mortuary & Crematory in Beatrice in charge of arrangements.
